Same enclosure discipline as the X12 blade: update CMM, switches and blades together. 5th Gen CPUs need BIOS 2.x. Cooling at full load needs the high-power fan modules. Supported on ESXi 8, Windows Server 2022 and RHEL 9.

Do Supermicro servers have remote management?
Yes. Every server-class board has a BMC with IPMI, Redfish and a web console; X13/H13 use the ASPEED AST2600 with HTML5 KVM. A licence key may be needed for BIOS updates via the BMC on older boards.
Can the SuperBlade SBI-421E-1T3N run a current operating system?
Check the field notes above. As a rule, current models are certified for Windows Server 2022/2025, ESXi 8 and RHEL 9; legacy models usually stop at Windows Server 2019 or ESXi 7 and may need Proxmox or an older Linux to stay useful.
