About the family

PowerConnect 2800/3500/5500/6200/7000/8000 series and Force10 S-series switches from before the PowerSwitch rebrand. Many are still in service; firmware and support have ended.

We keep these running when needed but recommend a replacement plan. Spanning tree behavior and unsupported firmware are the usual hazards.
